According to statistics, iron core grounding faults account for 42% of transformer faults, so accurate and continuous monitoring of the grounding current of transformer iron cores and clamps is very effective in understanding the health status of transformers. At present, the method of measuring the grounding current of the iron core using a clamp ammeter has the problems of low measurement accuracy, personal danger, and inability to timely track changes in grounding current and detect potential hazards of transformers. According to Article 12.2.18 of the "25 Key Requirements for Preventing Power Production Accidents" issued by the National Energy Administration, "For transformers with iron cores and clamps grounded through small sleeves, the grounding lead should be led to an appropriate position to monitor for circulating current in the grounding wire during operation. When there is an abnormal change in circulating current during operation, the cause should be identified as soon as possible.
